Very useful pump
4 of 4 found this helpful I bought this to sit at the bottom of a pit in the bottom of my garden. I'm lucky enough to have a clay lined garden, which given enough rain, floods quite badly. So I dug a large, quite deep pit to try and hold water to stop it ruining my garden, then popped a pump in to transfer the water to a drain.
I originally had a smaller pump which wasn't up to the job. This one is perfect (although I did have to make a filter for it to stop any debris getting lodged in the pump/pipework). It pumps all the water out of my flood pit, up the garden in to a drain. So far it's had quite a lot of work to do, and has been spot on.
Over two years on and it's never been lifted from the pit and it still runs perfectly.
