Great tribute from two who knew.
Lou on good form and John Cale not as irritating as he can be (to me anyway). I loved New York and Magic and Loss, but somehow missed this one 30 plus years ago.
Lovely ghost image of Andy on the cover.
Says more about Warhol than many books and documentaries. Gets played a lot in our house.

Light Weight
Light weight and patchy. Wanders off into repetitious inconsequentiality in places. Misses key aspects of The Search entirely, so it is a rather partial view.
Lots of facts asserted and quotations from Proust and other authors made, but no references listed, and no bibliography.
A quick and entertaining read but a book by a young man a little too confident in his own cleverness.

A week of chewing fun and and hardly a mark on it
Our dog destroyed a Kong tennis type ball in 2 minutes (and Kong products are normally great). He's had one of these a week now, gives it the full killer hound chomp and gnaw treatment several times a day, and there's hardly a mark on it. So I would recommend it for hard chewers who like, but destroy, ordinary tennis balls.
