Versatility abounds!
The Panasonic Lumix dmc fz300/330 is an extremely versatile camera. I choose the camera primarily because of it's awesome Leica lens that enables f2.8 throughout the entire zoom (25-600) range. There are 2 "Intelligent" modes providing a new user to capture good images right away. The LCD clarity is amazing and very useful when capturing images at odd angles because it's fully articulated. The electronic view finder is extremely clear and switches on when your eye approaches - very nice feature as there's no struggling to remember where to switch it on.
Beyond still images this camera has the capability to take full HD motion pictures, albeit you require an external microphone.
I upgraded from an 11 year old bridge / super zoom camera and find beyond the zoom and image quality the fz300's functionality provided is all I hoped for. Since my former camera was from a different manufacturer some of the nomenclature coupled with the menu complexity has taken some time for me to adjust.
