Fantastic multipurpose grip
these are great little devices for holding your sub 3kg DSLR. You really need a ball head though.
These are not worth the +£40 that you see in some places but around £20 they are a bargain

very smart phone
My N73 has now died and I needed a new phone. I am very fussy about the design as most phones being released now are not primarily a phone. I need it easy to dial but still have all the features i.e. quad band, hsdpa, real internet, video calling, gps, bluetooth, hi quality camera.
Don't be fooled by the name as compared to the n97 (standard) the mini is only very slightly smaller. It does have a much smaller memory but I don't foresee this as a problem.
The 'front page' screen is good with easy cusomization. I have e-mail inbox, maps, messages & internet showing with the rest of the space taken up with speed dials. These speed dials show the image of the contact but can't show a name.
Navigation through the menus is inconsistant. Sometimes needing 1 tap others 2. Many features are repeated throughout the menu structure (Orange branded phone). The phone can be a bit slow sometimes with no visual feedback to show that the phone is thinking.
The internet is good, it runs BBC, google etc. Youtube and facebook are shown in mobile format which is annoying. On O2 it is slow but Vodafone & T-Mobile is blindingly fast. Wifi is slower then expected (802g on a virgin 50mbps line). I couldn't access my network which is a shame as I have all my tunes, videos & picture on network drives.
GPS is fast but hate the chargeable maps. I'm going to try and put tomtom on it.
Photos are average nothing to write home about. They are as good in quality as the new Sony Satio but no where near that of the n86.

High power low price
Although this is getting a little old it is still a great performing laptop. My first one eventually died after being crushed on an airacraft.
I looked for a replacement with fast processor/ gpu, 4k touch screen and was very limited with my choices and all pushing £3k.
So if those 4 things are important to you this is a great machine.
Downsides weak hinges, noisey double cooling fans, short battery life (3hrs)
