Worth the cost, but be realistic with your expectations.
Will keep out anyone you don’t want getting in, up to a point. A sawzall or sledgehammer will have this thing open in a couple minutes but it’s just fine for keeping out the kids. If you are looking for heavy security and/or fire resistance, this isn’t it.
