"New", but years old...and not working.
This heart rate monitor was listed as "New"...Well, that is not exactly the case. Polar stopped making this monitor years ago. The monitor was still in the box and was never used. When I got the monitor, there was no display because the battery in the receiver was dead. I've had Polar monitors before and so I knew how to replace the battery in the receiver and did. However, the battery in the transmitter strap died within a few days, but it is not replaceable. It is molded in the strap. Replacement transmitter straps cost approx. $35.
