Great looking furniture for a reasonable price
Very nice looking furniture and good value for money. Fairly intuitive assembly, but could be slightly better.

Great little vacuum for a small home
The Karcher VC5 is a very good vacuum all around. It has four power settings. The suction power is great and you don't even need to use the maximum setting to successfully clean carpets and other tough-to-hoover flooring. The size is definitely a plus - it is very compact and stows away when not in use. It is feather-light and has a very long power cord so that two floors are comfortably cleaned from one socket. The exhaust is very clean without even a trace of dust. The noise level is a big plus, especially at power settings 2 and 3. It comes with all the necessary accessories. Finally, the price is great.
The biggest drawback is the size of the dust canister. At only 200ml it needs to be cleaned regularly (at least twice during cleaning, if you vacuum once a week), or the suction power goes down significantly. Another nagging, but not essential drawback is the design of the power controls - there is a separate on/off button and power settings button. A more intuitive option would have been to switch the vacuum off through the power settings slider.

Good all around ladder.
The ladder is well-made and lightweight, with a very good telescopic design. It is more than reasonable for all jobs around the house and because the height is adjustable it can be used anywhere. I use it primarily as an attic ladder. I was pleasantly surprised by the accessories that came in the box. Beside the ladder there was a bag for it and a pair of work gloves.
The only reason for the 4 star rating is a bit of a weird design feature whereby in order to stow any of the rungs, the one below needs to be unlocked as well, leaving the feeling that I might nip my fingers.
