A lesser known campaign of World War 1.
A fascinating story - full of details very pertinent to the time and it's people. A great insight into the wider aspects of World War 1 and this less well known area of conflict. Could almost be a novel. Very interesting information re "The African Queen" and its plot that may have been inspired by the Mimi and Toutou account. An absorbing tale of the events and the individuals involved however far-fetched and eccentric they may appear to us. Can recommend the book as a very good, easy and pacy read that is informative yet not numbingly academic.

Simply attractive and effective ...
Provided both an effective and simple 2D display base to enhance display and appearance of completed small scale model ships. Time saving and attractive in its effects especially when used in conjunction with firm's back drop. Well worth the investment - have ordered more plus the seascape with ship's wake.
