Metcalfe Buildings
I've tried many different makes of model buildings in both card and plastic. In my view the best out there for price, detail and ease of construction is Metcalfe. Yes you can achieve higher levels of detail with scratch building or more expensive kits but Metcalf's aren't far behind, cost less and need less time and skill to achieve a very realistic building. Just read the instructions fully and take your time. You won't be disappointed.

Hornby 060 chimney
This is a perfect fit for Hornby pannier tank engines or similar. I bought one for ' Duck' from Thomas the Tank Engine. A quick spray of undercoat and a top coat of black and it looks perfect.
