Good value from this supplier
The part it's replacing failed because of a material weakness in the catch - plastic rather than metal - and no doubt this will fail in the same way eventually. There are producers that make the catches in metal: the catch is they cost more than this whole assembly! The particular supplier of this part, incidentally, provided the best value part I could find, so hats off to them.
