Helps stop itching quite well.

It does a pretty good job of stopping or reducing itches, and it seems like the oatmeal stuff makes it last longer.

Good product helps healing

A doctor's office had it and said I would need it to dress my toe after toenail was removed. I guess it worked as I recovered from the removal and no longer need to dress it. Its purpose seems to help seal the area and keep it moist so it can heal. I thought, why not use for other wounds and it does seem to help them heal. I've also tried Manuka Honey dressing but it's sticky and I don't like to smell honey all the time. Amerigel isn't sticky and has no odor.

Good product, but needed modifications for my use.

Had to make modifications to fit my use... The washer/spacer just inside the left end (in the photo), the end of which prevents the cutting disk from sliding off the end, was thicker than my cutting disk so the washer & nut further up the shaft couldn't tighten down on the disk & it spun on the shaft (didn't cut). I had to modify a fender washer by cutting a ~5/8" hole in it (same diameter as the end washer of the product) so the nut and washer could tighten down on the cutter (abrasive wheel/disk). Another option would have been to make the existing washer thinner, but that may reduce the use with a thicker cutting disk. It would have been nice if it had two washers, for both thin and thicker disks. Just so you know, the nut is reverse threaded so it doesn't loosen with a clockwise (forward/drill down) turn.
