quality die
I used for cutting threads in brass for which this die was perfect. I haven't tried on harder materials.

Stops noise but hard to fit
1 of 1 found this helpful Clearly visible wear on my old part shows that this is the cause of noisy gearbox on K-mix. However, fitting the part is not easy as you have to disassemble the whole drive machinery of the mixer. Also note that by simply turning the primary gear over (it is symetrical) you can use the unworn face of the teeth. Cause of premature wear is lubrication failure. Kenwood use non-toxic grease which is less effective but safe if it gets into food - unlikely. Nothing to stop you using graphite or molybdenum grease if you prefer - ensure O-rings are in good condition..

Great images tricky setup
These cameras produce very good quality images both in the day and at night. The IR illumination at night is bright but could be wider angled, however, the sensor is very sensitive so works well even in low light.
The main issue with Hikvision is setting up the software. The software is very feature-rich and this is part of the problem. The other part of the problem is that the documentation is not very well written and does not explain step-by-step how to configure the data storage. Hence many people can view great images but can't record anything. Also, some cameras have on-camera storage and some don't, hence further confusion.
However, if you you can presist with the software the results are rewarding and I am very happy with the system now that it is all working as advertised.
