Intel Core i5-3570K 3570K - 3.8GHz Quad-Core (CM8063701211800) Processor

A great CPU but beware compatibility with modern Windows 10

Its an Intel CPU - a bit old *but perfect for my old motherboard). What more is there to say. Its faster than the 2nd Gen low power CPU I was upgrading from - but also it runs hotter (a bit too hot in my mini ITX case with limited airflow not not much room for even the stock cooler). A big drawback, the onboard graphics (HD4000?) is old and not supported properly in the most recent Windows 10 versions. For this reason, I gave up and upgraded to a Ryzen 3600 - but that was more out of curiosity (so far highly reccomended but clearly a significant expenditure over a single old CPU upgrade)

As you would expect?

Whilst not the fastest access point out there these days, it does a good job and perfect for locations where power is difficult to reach as it comes with its own POE Injector PSU (if you don't already have a PoE source switch). Significantly better than the 2.4Ghz only AP's
