Monitor Audio RX6. Excellent sounding speakers.
I bought these simply to hear whether they were as good as the reviews have said. I have many pairs of speakers in many systems throughout the house. I've owned over 100 pairs of speakers. I am a 'speaker nut' according to my wife.
These are now the speakers of choice in my second system. The great thing about them is lack of colouration. They're really clean and open sounding. I have them about 80cm from the back wall, which makes the bass balance perfect in my listening room. The bass response is deep, clean and excellent. I use them with a subwoofer crossed over at 45hz. They barely need the sub at all, but it helps slightly in the lowest octave. The midrange is excellent also. There could be a tiny bit more upper mid detail - if there were these would be perfect speakers at their price point.
A superb product, and a real steal at used prices.
