Good quality reasonable price
You can pay almost any price for these (known as Christmas Trees in the lighting trade). This is reasonable price and good quality. The plastic covers often warp on cheap versions - these seem solid & flat. Also, the screws often rust - these appear to be stainless, so this should not be a problem. Just spent a month outside running Christmas lights - no problems.

Good for the price
Reasonable hazer. The DMX connection makes it easy to integrate into a rig. The control is a bit hit and miss. Even at low settings, it produces a lot of output and possibly nearer to smoke than haze - yes I did use the correct fluid. Also at the rate fluid is used, the tank would empty quite quickly. Don't think you would get anything better at this price though.

Excellent Dimmer
This is a great little product, easily mounted on a lighting stand thus saving quite a bit of cabling. The 32amp input means it can actually handle the rated current with all channels 100%, which many small units cannot. If you should be unlucky enough to pop a triac, they are easy to change, as they are mounted by a screw connector (not soldered in).
Minor niggles. The address DIP switches are inside, which means taking the lid off to make changes - not always convenient. The lid has 'tamper proof screws' which I replaced with standard M3 screws, as you are not always likely to have a special screwdriver kit with you at a gig...
The DMX in and out are the proper 5 pin type. This is entirely correct, but does mean you will probably need 3 to 5 adapters in the average mid-range rig.
I use a pair of these for conventional FOH for a small band. Previously had to run lots of high power cables from an on stage dimmer rack. Now just power plus DMX - very convenient.
A quality product.
