The Little Shop of Horrors
1 of 2 found this helpful I used to own the video and loved it, this died a long time ago and while I was looking through ebay I noticed that the dvd was for sale, I felt that I would like to own it again so I made the decision to bid for it, I won it and looked forward to it comming through the door.
What I love about the film is the music and the energy that eminates from the film, it make you want to get up and dance.
I feel it captures the hopelessness of people who live in "skid row", the hopes and dreams of Audry and the poor pathetic Seymore who just can't get a break in life.
The characters in the film were very well cast, Rick Moranis, the gawky shop assistant, Ellen Greene, the original dumb blonde, and not forgetting every childs and adults nightmare, Steve Martin, the sadistic dentist, it's horror, it's comedy, It's romance, It's one of the best movies I have seen in ages and one I could watch time and time again.
I can safely say there is nothing I dislike about it.

War Of The Worlds Steven Spielberg
10 of 12 found this helpful Although not an expert on the above film, I have listened to the radio broadcast, seen the original film, listened to jeff waynes album, and seen the tom cruise version.
Although I do not agree with some of the reviews that I have read here, I have to say that the spielberg film was very good, the CGI was great and the storyline held me for the 2 hours, albeit the ending was a little quick, but hey, that is the story. I was a little dissapointed however that there was no epilouge at the end, the uncertainty that it could happen again
With any film there has to be a story line inserted ( Look at titanic ), I feel that this make the film watchable and not a documentry style program.
This is one that I will continue to watch again and again, I love the film and I love the concept, It is also very thought provoking.
