The Saint
Leslie Charteris is one of the greatest crime novel writers of the last century.
To my mind, Simon Templar's adventures are the final word in masterclass rip-roaring adventure stories.
The Saint is a character whom is scandalously overlooked in an age overly and (unfairly) obsessed with a tired diet of Bond.
Itstself constrained with its self important identity politics i.e. Must be black.. (tick box) Must be sensitive..(tick box) etc etc zzzz.
No, The Saint is devilish, delightful, and decadent
I can't rate these fine stories high enough.. Bravo Mr Charteris ( Bravo).

I pissed myself laughing.
Very bloody funny. (What more can one say)? Ho ho. I love VIZ and I don't care who's offended. My favourite character must be Mr Logic.

A compelling wonderful book. Full of hidden meaning. Mind before matter. Not matter before mind.
