Nier Perfect.
1 of 1 found this helpful Nier Automata is not just one game but a combination of many, from unleashing beautiful combo's in 3rd person to becoming a side scrolling like platform and also a well made top down shooter there's plenty to keep you focused on your mission at hand. Story is strong here if not a little confusing but if your like me you'll delve into the history of the franchise and learn all the thread's that tie the story together.
Map size it's not the biggest but this is another ingenious part, rather that a massive world which is devoid of life and interesting locations here we have a compact map which is crammed full of beautiful location's, side missions and lot's of adorable killer machines.
Graphically it's a triumph with a gritty kind of style that work's very well.
So jump into the world of 2B and 9S and hold on because this is one hell of a ride you won't forget in a hurry

Dog Days is a slight improvement on the very ordinary original but still struggles to find a foot hold in this saturated genre.
1 of 1 found this helpful Let's start with the visuals, you'll either find them super stylish or terrible add to that the whole live action shaky camera movement and it can become nauseating at times. If you enjoy 3rd person shooter's there's fun to be had but don't count on hanging around until the finale (about 4 hours!!!) as it soon becomes a repetitive slog of shoot every goon with a gun move onto the next area and repeat over and over again, add to that the plot...or lack of, the forgettable characters and you have yourself a very average shooter which has been done alot better by most other 3rd person shooter's on the market. Hard to recommend unless you absolutely loved the original
