Shercliffe lad...
I lived on the Shirecliffe Estate for the first 19 years of my life and recognise the amount of nostalgia brought back.
Regarding t'Cross... well, there was quite some rivalry when I was at Comp. School and occasionally gangs, from Chaucer School, would come over for a fight during the lunch hour.
Oh, happy days... not 🥴
As said earlier, the book described the area and what it was like.
A good piece of social history.

New best mate!
An extremely handy and ergonomic little machine.
The different settings are simple to apply and the efficiency much appreciated.
Obviously very portable and not hampered by trailing extension cords etc.
Up to now the item has been utilised for model making, construction of bean supports and outdoor furniture.
No more blistered hands when inserting screws, yay.
Well impressed.
