Projection Mobile is good, with flaws
Don't expect this to be a cure-all for your child. It may not put him to sleep, or cause him to stop crying. But it is pretty good at the functions it says it performs.
Two critical points to be aware of: First, the remote control can turn the item on at a distance of say 15 feet, if both the remote and the machine sensor are facing each other. That works to turn it on without nosily approaching your baby. But, oddly, the remote cannot turn off the machine (though the machine does eventually turn itself off). I've double-checked this. There's nothing wrong with my remote unit. It was designed this way (?).
The other issue concerns mounting this on a crib or bassinet. It has a very specific mounting mechanism and strap. It won't work with all bassinets or cribs. So read instructions before buying.
