Did not fit

One of the three valve ports was mislocated and the valve could not be installed. It was confirmed that it was the correct valve for my car, just would not fit. It looked identical to the original valve, but it wasn't.

Honeywell Home CT31A1003 Heat/Cool Non-Programmable Thermostat

Good, versatile , reliable

I was looking for a fail-safe mechanical thermostat that did not rely on a battery to prevent freezing at a remote camp. This one fit the bill. Only trick is to figure out how to remove the thermostat, undo the latch/clip that attaches it to the base. It's tricky...from below.
