Poor bloody infantry
A book that writes from the perspective of the men doing the fighting. The men who knew little about the strategy or the plans about the battle, often not knowing where in a foreign country they where. Good book.

Ringside seat
I've read quite a few of his books & his narrative puts you directly into what it felt like to be in the middle of the action. There is no bibliography it's all first hand account from the people who where there.
