An excellent pack all round and great for the large and wide runner
I've used a number of running packs in the past, and not all have been good, but this one certainly is. I wouldn't use it for short or summer runs, but if you need to stock up an a lot of extra clothing or safety equipment, then this is the pack. I bought it specifically for a winter ultra marathon, which includes a lot more mandatory safety equipment than normal, and it fits it all in with ease. It's stated as 25L, but seems to fit way more than other 25L packs I've used in the past. Build quality is first class. With the pack full, I was expecting it to bounce around a little, but surprisingly, this was not the case. One of the best features for me is the size of the straps. I'm a tad large for a runner with a 48" chest, but this pack fits with room and strap to spare, so the pack to go for if you're not the average runner.

Better than expected.
Not a bad piece of kit for the price. It's military issue, so always have to bear in mind it's built to a price point. Pleasantly surprised how good it actually is. To be warm, you'll need some extra layers, but a warm windproof smock. Bought as a hiking top for cooler mountain trips, and should be fine for that.

Surprisingly Good
First impression when I opened the box was, oh what a mistake! It was only after I put the bow together and fired a few arrows that I realised it's actually a surprisingly good bow. I have a Samick Sage to compare with, and in all honesty, the Sage's quality is far better, and once you factor in nearly £20 of import charges to the UK, it's actually about the same price. That said, there's something about this bow that makes you want to keep using it. The riser is light and pretty robust with all of the holes you'll need to attach any aids you can think of; I managed to get a whisker biscuit and a trophy ridge three pin sight without too much difficulty. The limbs seem incredibly cheap, which they are, but they're actually smoother than the Sage and really force the arrows in to the target. I've not measured the speed or draw weight, but as a physical comparison, both bought at 50#, the Mandarin has an easier and smoother draw with the arrows driving pretty much the same depth in to the target as the Sage. All in all, it's a cracking little bow, but if you're looking for quality, I'd stick with one of the more well known manufacturers.
