Modified unit
This is the 3rd of these units I have bought for my Qualcast 30 mower. The first 2 didn't last very long before the plastic centre pivot socket broke up. Pleased to note this latest one has been modified and looks much more robust and does not need the spring (which I deduce was probably the cause of the earlier failures).

Kenwood Chef repair
I needed to replace the gearbox grease as it had hardened and caused the clutch to strip its thread. New fresh grease and clutch dog and the mixer is back as good as new.

Cup cutter that works with a bit of effort
1 of 1 found this helpful If you want something inexpensive that does the job this is ok but it takes a bit of effort to push the potato through the grid. The grid and the plastic insert do fall out easily, ok for cleaning but a little irritating. When they fall out when putting the next potato in the device. All in all it is fine for the rare occasion when my granddaughter wants grandpa’s triple fried chips so it ok for me.
