Great Ultra-comp[act APS-C Camera
This is a fantastic little (literally) camera with an APS-C sensor. The matching "M" lens are also metal machined for a high-quality feel and great performance. I've used this camera with the EF-M lens adapter on both my "L" and non-L lens and it focuses to perfection (and with no mirror, there's no front or back-focusing issues), although not quite as fast as the DSLR bodies. I wouldn't use it for fast-action sports but anything else, works great!

You get what you pay for
The quality of the pictures is not all that great and I carefully followed the instructions to a "T" - I guess I didn't expect much for $25 but could have been better. It will work to show animals that trigger it, but for security applications, the picture quality just doesn't cut it.

Nice quality lightweight carbon fiber tripod at 2.3 lbs for traveling and eye height fully opened for shooting pictures. Twist lock is very quick to open or close - tip: from the fully collapsed position, slightly lose each twist lock on a leg and pull the leg sections all the way out, then tighten each one - super fast! Can also shoot "upside down" with the center column for low close-up work.
