The Birth of Rock 'n Roll
As a a historic record of popular music from the 40's through to the 70's, this boxed set is essential. It contains all the early Rock and Roll numbers by the original artists before Elvis and Bill Hayley came on the scene. Hear the original versions of That's All Right Mama, Shake Rattle and Roll, Hound Dog and more. This CD is excellent for lovers of Rockabilly.

Albert Lee Master Guitarist
If you have never heard of Albert Lee, just buy a CD and you will be impressed. I had never listened to Country Music, and didn't really want to. Now I'm hooked. Don't mix it with Dolly Pardon and the Pop Country. "Hiding" is a 2004 release of '80s tracks. It's good - Albert hasn't made a bad record, but some of his more recent recordings are even better.

50s/60s Gold
Its not Rockabilly, its not Rock'n Roll and it's not Country. It is 50s/60s Pop influenced by all three. I bought this record because the Everly Brothers were very much a part of the pre-Beatles popular music scene, and this period in music is very important to me. You will probably know all the songs, as I do, but that makes it all the better value. Good quality reproduction too. If you want an Everly's record, no problem, if you are under 30 and don't know who they are, it's certainly not for you.
