Doesn't live up to the hype; the print is only fair
This movie is considered by some to be one of the best film noirs, but I found all the characters unappealing, the story was very weak, and motivations for what little story there was, was unconvincing. This was a big disappointment.

Uncut, not in the original widescreen, terrible video image, good subtitles.
It is unfortunate that this and the obsolete laserdisc are the only uncut versions of this film. All DVD's are cut. The picture quality on this VHS is terribly blurry and it is not showing in the original widescreen. Very disappointed.

Copycat is not widescreen
1 of 2 found this helpful Warner Brothers made a manufacturing mistake, which is why this box set is out of print. If you are interested in seeing the original widescreen format for Copycat (as FALSELY advertised on the box), you will have to buy this movie separately. I wrote WB about their error, and they did not have the courtesy to even answer my E Mail! The other 3 movies work fine. Buy this "3 film" set only if you can get it for a cheap price.
