About

I find it rather rude when sellers wait for my feedback before posting theirs. I pay, then you ship, right? Hence, I have fulfilled my part of the deal long before you fulfill yours, so it is only fair if you post your feedback first. Enough said.

Just what was needed
OK, to be absolutely fair, I did four things to rescue my rickety old lawnmower: gave it a thorough clean inside out, changed oil, dumped old and poured in new petrol and... replaced the head gasket (for this one). Not sure whether it was the new fuel or the new gasket that did it, but my money is on the gasket. It fitted perfectly, the engine started on the first try and ran smoother than I last remember it before it packed up. Once it started, I poured the old petrol back and it continued running fine. In conclusion, I believe it was the gasket. I am not a mechanic and everything I did was just a guess. The old gasket looked broken, so I replaced it. If I could do it, anyone can. Go on, guys, don't be shy. Get your hands dirty.
