Great sounding
2 of 2 found this helpful Although I seem to have the Gibson version as the ear pads are glued, I'm still really happy. The build quality and fit and finish is excellent and they sound amazing! If you own a pair of AKG 7 series and you enjoy the detail and clarity but would like more bass which is reasonably tight but goes down low then these are for you!

Great sound, poor build quality
1 of 1 found this helpful They do sound great but the price is ridiculous and (for the price) the quality is poor. First purchased a few years ago and that pair broke after (ironically🤔) just over two years (they were never treated roughly as I always take very good care of anything I buy, especially items as expensive as these) Sent them back to Shure as the mmcx connection on one of the buds failed, (you can check this issue out in the customer reviews on Shure's own website) to be told they were out of the two year🙄 warranty* and I would have to pay for a replacement (at a reduced but still comparably expensive price) As I also own several other iems and high end headphones, the replacements have not been used so much and only used at home. Got them out this morning and noticed that one of the bud housings was parting at the join. This would be unacceptable at any price but at the price these are selling for (they were first released way back in 2013) it's a joke! Also be aware that the warranty* only applies if purchased from Shure or from an authorised dealer, so check this with the supplier before you buy.
