Perfect for BMW ZF Auto boxes
1 of 1 found this helpful I did a lot of research on alternative fluids for my BMW 535d gearbox which was troublesome at best. The genuine ZF fluid is silly money and realistically I wanted to use a fluid to refill my gearbox, run it for a while and then change it again to get the majority of the old worn fluid flushed out of the torque converter. After draining my gearbox, cleaning the valve body, replacing a couple of seals, fitting a new filter and refilling with this fluid my gearbox is now perfect. No slipping, no holding gears, no random downshifts etc. I’ve done about 4000 miles since the fluid change and I highly recommend this fluid as a cheaper alternative to the genuine ZF fluid. The 10 litre package is perfect for such gearboxes too as a full refill will take 9 litres or so.
