  Hello and thank you so much for leaving positive feedback. The yellow-green tone is the variety of the plant which is a 'Golden Hakonechloa' so please be assured that the plant looks as it should at the time of sending. The new leaves that will grow from early spring onwards might be a slightly darker shade of green but will turn to yellow from late summer into Autumn.
