A scientifically justified and objective critique of the reports and summaries of climate change compared with the evidence.
While there is no doubt that the planet is warming and there is a lot of good science to provide the evidence that this is the case there is no doubt that early on the subject became more of a religion than science for some and they cooked the books. I thought that the Scientific world had overcome this, but although the situation is better, it appears that bodies including the IPCC still 'guild the lilley'. Summaries of reports are more alarming than assessment of the science justifies and often ignore the natural background changes in temperature. Those doing it no doubt think that the subject is of such importance that this is justified in order to make the subject be taken seriously enough, but they are in danger of bringing Science into disrepute. The subject is serious enough without any varnish.
This book steers a scientifically justified route midway between climate change fervour and denial.
