Bright, clear and useful gadget
This is a great drop-in power meter for monitoring battery voltage, load and Watt-hour calculations. I use this with my portable Amateur Radio Go-kit to keep tabs on my battery, check power usage of all my attached peripherals and check published values for low-power energy consumption. Being able to turn the backlight on and off is useful, although the LED backlight uses negligible power. Having tie posts is also useful for selecting the connectors your accessories use. I was able to create and attach Anderson PowerPole connectors for plug-and-play ease.

Small size and Square compatible
The unit is a little pricey for it's size and functionality, but since it's the only one that works with the Square system, I didn't have much choice. On the good side, it does perform well and has a decent-sized symbol dictionary. It pairs with iOS devices and recognizes barcodes quickly. I haven't tested on 3D symbology yet, but it is supposed to recognize several.
