Great for the price. Metal base is heavy enough to hold without magnet.
The stand I received is branded Toolzone and is solidly constructed and stable with enough inherent weight to hold firm on a flat surface even with the magnet being used. The initial stand I received had a wobble, probably by a millimetre, front to back left to right across the axis of the base but was replaced no problem.
I’m impressed with the overall quality for the price and I’m looking forward to using it with my gauge.

I bought these to use on the (standard),...
I bought these to use on the (standard), cone shaped front springs of a 2008 Porsche C4S.
The compressors themselves are solidly made and strong, but I cannot see how these compressors, and others similar, would ever be able to compress a cone spring to the degree needed in order to remove/refit shocks. Maybe it is something specific to the Porsche design, but there was no room on the spring to fit the compressors and have two coils between them, which you need to have if the spring is going to be compressed sufficiently.
In the end i had to fabricate (weld) an outer frame that fitted on the base of the strut mount before these compressors would have space to operate.
Nb. I also tried those yellow plastic macpherson spring compressors that you see advertised- didn’t work on the Porsche either.
I have no doubt the compressors work fine on longer, non-cone springs, so you’ll be fine if you have that type. Otherwise, be prepared to have to innovate.

The keys themselves are good quality but...
The keys themselves are good quality but the holes in the plastic retainer for certain keys are too large and the keys keep falling out.
