Good quality, clean casting
1 of 1 found this helpful There are a few spots that could probably use attention with a die grinder, but otherwise I'm impressed with the quality of the casting - especially compared with 10 or 20 year old aluminum castings.
Differences between intakes of the same type are minimal - especially if you're not running a wild motor. I basically chose this one because it had a cool name and I didn't want "Jegs" or "Summit" on my engine.

Well built, easy to install
The paint isn't really great quality, so make sure your axles are installed before you put the cover on... or you'll tear up the paint removing and replacing it like I did. Paint will also dissolve with carb spray.
It might not be a bad idea to just repaint it with better stuff yourself.
Metal's about an inch thick, so you're probably not going to see any weight savings but then again that's not really the point.

good fit, no leaks
the Pan fits well, thought it did need some massaging for the corner bolts with the bolts I had. I recommend using allen head bolts with washers for the corners
the drain plug is of good quality unlike the last nova pan I bought
