great stylus
This stylus goes with the old Wacom Intuos2 series. It doesn’t use a battery and has a nice rubber grip. It weighs 0.6 ounces.

this book doesn't deliver, the Fret Basics DVD is better
I got nothing from this book. The book’s small black and white pictures don’t show you what’s going on. The book devotes a lot of space to esoteric examples (e.g. side-insertion of frets on old Fenders) at the expense of basic setup and other important information which it explicitly and cheekily tells you to find in another Erlewine book: the Guitar Player Repair Guide.
