No thermostatic control
2 of 2 found this helpful I expected a slow gentle heat, somewhat similar to a heating belt I had some years ago.. this product nearly boiled my wine after a mere 2 hours! So don't switch it on and go out for the day and leave it alone, it will heat your beer/wine but it doesn't know when to stop. You need to keep a close eye on the temperature.

Good product
Clear instructions, took me a little longer than the estimated 1hr but that's my problem not the product. Easy to put together and looks great.

Better than others
2 of 2 found this helpful I was expecting just another herbal book (I have others), with basic descriptions of the plants and their properties.. nope! I was delighted to find that each plant, and there are 50 of them in this book, merited several pages to itself! Beautiful photos and drawings abound, and I can see this is going to be a well loved book, thank you, I'm very happy and will recommend it to friends and family alike. :)
