Works well, easy to build.
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a nice little kit. Its pretty easy to build if you have some soldering experience, and it works well. The only small things to mention are 1. It doesn't seem like you can calibrate the temperature, which is a few degrees off in mine, and 2. You get a bag full of small screws/bolts which don't seem to serve any function at all. Everything is together, including the case, without any need for these screws.

Good iron, rubbish tips.
This is a good, usable iron that is let down badly by the tips that it's supplied with. They pit almost immediately no matter how careful you are. I went through 2 tips in 3 days! Thankfully they are generic tips that are cheaply available, and it works well with the replacements I bought, so I can't rate it too badly.

Bad things: The 4 I got measure between 700 and 800mah.
Don't waste your time and money!
