Very good quality, well worth the extra cost
This is the expensive version of the many for sale, but very well worth the extra. It is a well-made, well-finished heavy-weight aerator that won't detract from the looks of your kitchen. It has a good positive action when you turn it from stream to spray flow. It looks like it is a part of my (good-quality chrome) kitchen tap and both saves water and aerates tap water, making it more pleasant to drink.

Easy to fit, very effective at stopping heat loss from the chimney
1 of 1 found this helpful Very easy to fit (I am a retired nurse and did it on my own, though I do have fairly easy roof access). It very quickly made a measurable difference in the reduction of heat loss through the chimney. A small room and cupboard backing onto the chimney were previously always cold, even when the wood-burner was lit, and now both are always warm. The temperature (in January) in these areas went from 16 degrees C to 19.4 degrees in two days after the C-Cap was fitted, while the outside temperature remained the stable. The house is now much easier to heat using the central heating. I decided to stop using the wood-burner on health and environmental grounds, but was shocked to feel the continuous stream of warm air coming out of the chimney even with the heating off and when no fire had been lit for several weeks.
So an effective product, easy to fit and has so far stayed in place through two storms.
