Peace of Mind and Convenience!
I purchased this because I had seen it many times advertised on TV but never pulled the trigger. The newest version with the outlet capability added another level of value and peace of mind so I decided to buy it. I haven't had a need for jump starting a car yet, but with the frigid Winter we're having I hope I can be of assistance to someone in need. Being able to plug in a lamp or fan or radio when the power goes off for an extended period of time or in a bad storm is peace of mind that can't be matched. The convenience of plugging in a computer or cell phone or other mobile device when you're traveling, have a battery that is running low but you need some type of device to communicate or navigate in an unfamiliar area or whatever the reason you'll find this Halo unit to be a lifesaver. I'm a Realtor and constantly showing homes in areas where I need to use the mapping/navigation feature on my iPhone, but that drains my battery quickly. I lost my car charger years ago and never replaced it and have been caught in very challenging circumstances on more than one occasion where my phone battery was dead and I needed to call someone. Whether it be long trips in the car to pacify kids or an emergency situation this purchase is one of the smartest ones I've made in a long time.
