Awesome!
This is an awesome product! It is lightweight and very easy to use. It has video and still picture capability. It uses a mini DV cassette tape which are still readily available for purchase with a slot to put in a memory stick. It appears the biggest one you can get for the DCR-TRV33 model is the 128 mb stick of which I have purchased and should be getting soon. It did come with the standard 4 mb stick. The Li-ion battery charges up via unit or you can purchase a charger for it. I just purchased a Powerextra charger and 2 replacement batteries (kit) for it that work like a champ! Once you record onto the cassette, you can play back just like a VCR. Once you "snap" your pictures onto the memory stick, you can play those back too. Highly recommend this Camcorder! I do apologize for the incorrect information regarding the memory stick! It came with an 8 mb stick and the biggest is the 512 mb stick of which is on the way! Quite a bit of difference there!
