fixed my problem

The replacement parts were shipped very quickly. They were the right parts for the job. I highly recommend replacing the Bendix along with the starter. Bad design from Polaris. The starter could be replaced in 5 minutes, very easy access. You must take the right side cover off the engine to replace the Bendix. You must also loosen the flywheel about 1/4". To do this you need a puller of medium size and to remove the plastic side cover over the gas tank. Even then it was awkward to break the flywheel loose. Took about an hour and a half with the right tools.
