Fits, but loosely...
This is a good and handy little item that needs to be carried in every camera bag.
PROS-The hood fits the lens and is made of good materials. It is just as described.
CONS-If there is one thing that I don't like about it, is it fits loosely on the lens. It goes on nice and clicks into place, but it is a weak click and I have found that if you are not careful it will come off the lens.

AMAZING picture quality
I bought this laptop for one reason only...photo editing. After some work to figure out the graphics due to the 4K resolution, (Not the fault of the laptop,, but rather the program writers for the editing software), I was and have been able to use this laptop for just that reason. The image resolutions are great! And the speed of this is awesome. There are some areas that I haven't worked out yet, but those are just setup issues that I would like to have done. I think that the only thing this system lacks would be a SSD hard drive, but what I paid for this unit I am completely satisfied! I would recommend this to someone who is in the gaming society or photo editing like myself. You won't find better graphics on ANY pc or laptop!

A great addition to your gear
This is a handy and valuable little tool that can be kept in anyone's camera bag for those times when more than one camera will be used on a shoot. It attaches easily to ones belt, (I suggest removing belt and sliding the belt through the slots verses slipping it over the belt through the cut-outs if you are wearing a shiny belt as it might scratch). I would suggest a wider belt if you are going to be carrying a heavier camera rig as this will be pulling at your side all day. Once on the belt this item stays secure and doesn't move around. Attaching the camera could't get easier and once secured in it's holder the whole rig is easy to use and very accessible. The holder seems to be very durable as well. I use a crop frame sensor camera with a big lens on it and it handled the weight without a problem. Although removing the camera is a 2 handed procedure, it was easy and almost effortless. It comes right off and goes back on without any hiccups or issues and I never had any using mine. The use of the second hand might seem to be a pain, but if you get into some of the positions that I do it's nice to know that your gear is secure and won't be leaving your side at an awkward moment.
All in all, I would give this item 5 stars and would recommend it to someone looking for a camera, or any gear holder, that uses the 1/4" thread capability of this holder.
