Great Book For Anyone In Business
This book was a real "nuts & bolts" business and marketing manual. This was not fairy tale, "positive thinking", "visualization" tripe.
Techniques that you can apply tomorrow. You may have to use your brain to apply them to your situation as most of his examples are from the perspective of one who sells financial products.
That being said, by the time the first CD was over, I had a new strategy in place, with real people to call and a real to-do list and a real feeling that what I was doing was going to bring me more clients.
I am always skeptical of the examples people cite in their books. There were some in this book that seemend a little over the top. But nothing compared to those "I made $10,000 on my first day" BS stories that make up so many other books.
Dr. Stanley's book is totally different. Get more referrals by giving your prospects more than the 'cap in hand' 'please give me your business' schtik that so many salesman put out there.
From one who HATES selling....I give this one an A+.
