Its been a while since I've had a kenwood head unit in a car and I remember why now I've installed this KDC-241SA. The display constantly scrolls which is distracting and irritating, all the auto seek and information services etc are set ON as default and also get quite irritating (you can turn them to manual). The sound quality is ok and the overall finish of the product it alright. And its cheap & has auxilliary connection for an iPod. Would I buy another? No. Save & buy an Alpine.......

Excellent head unit

Superb unit, typical Alpine quality - easy to use, looks and feels like its been properly engineered unlike some of the recent stereos I've had. The X300 is getting on a bit now, replaced by the 305S but it still does the job and I would recommend an Alpine over Kenwood etc any day! Sound Quality 9.5/10 Looks 9/10 functionality 9/10 Quality 10/10 Buy one!
