The Healing Power of a Healthy Mind by William Backus

I very much enjoy William Backus' works. This is an excellent book. Backus points out the effect our thoughts have on our immune system, and that directing our thoughts will strengthen it for health and healing. It is NOT a positive thinking book -- as in, "if I don't acknowledge it, it doesn't exist"! He does a beautiful job of striking a perfect balance, acknowledging reality, but directing our thoughts in positive ways to put our minds and bodies in the best position for health and healing. I would recommend it to anyone!
