Fantastic Bag, Regardless of Intended Use
I was shopping for a good camera bag, and many sources pointed me toward the Billingham line of products. Now that I've owned this bag for a little while, I would actually consider owning it even if I had never taken up photography at all. It's just that nice.
Everything about this bag, from the styling to the construction, says "quality." The stitching is strong and uniform, the leather is of a nice quality (thick and well-tanned), and the design is simple-yet-clever. Even with a medium-sized camera and multiple lenses, the bag feels lightweight (although the optional strap pad isn't really "optional," over longer periods of time). Adding a laptop and other gear may start to weigh things down, but arguably not as bad as with some messenger bags *without* even considering all the camera weight. The strap is easy to adjust and long enough to be worn over the shoulder or over the body. There are no zippered pockets, and no internal pockets in general; some may dislike this, but I think I like it as there's less chance of forgetting where I've put something. Again, the design is gloriously simple.
All in all? One of the more pleasing products I've purchased in recent memory. A++
