The most reliable, realistic slow motion turnout switch machine on the market. I will never use snap relay switches again!!!

These turnout machines are seriously the best slow motion robotic machine for your railroad I've ever used in over 20 years of railroading. I would never, ever use snap relay machines again like the first ones I first used in my first layout again. I've used these tortoise machines on two different railroad layouts I've built now and love not only their realistic operation and reliability but the two single pole double throw relays already built into them for operating not only switch signals but I found even for using them to automatically switch your insulated rail blocks every time you throw the switch for the turnout instead of having to use the Atlas (or equivalent) block switches on your layout. I have rewired all my switching insulated blocks now to use the tortoise single pole double throw relay switches and it's a no-brain-er now every time I switch to sidings. I also love you can easily adjust the rail tension on your turnouts by simply adjusting the fulcrum point on the wire from these to your turnout arm. Great design and really well engineered. Good instructions included.

Tortoise is the Cadillac of switch machines

Spring tension turnouts are a nightmare waiting to fail but tortoise is infinitely adjustable tension wise and dependable as the sun rising plus they move prototypically slow motion like the real railroad switches do. They also have two built in extra single pole double throw relay switches built in for any multitude of electrical switching needs your layout may need. I will never use anything else on any layout I build (I have built 2 so far).

As a professional musician I can't say enough about this product !!

15 gigs under this rigs belt in the last month and the sound is far superior to any other product in this remarkable price range. Very well built and "roads" well in packing and moving every night and the lows are round and sooooo "defined" as well as bell ringing clear highs. The total sound definition is amazing and I love the manual step attenuator for the horn if you need to dial a little top end edge off for smaller clubs. I've known about Carvin from years of recording studio commercial work over the years but just can't say enough about this amazing cab. I use and Ampeg SVT350 head on it and play predominately on a Rickenbacker modified bass and the sounds have never been more clearly defined and perfect. I'm totally sold on this great cab plus I added the factory castors to keep it easy to move.
