X-LITE NEX-GEN™ TREADMILL - Manual Incline - Motorised Folding Running Machine
    30 Jan, 2017
Flimsy, absolute rubbish, but positively cheap!
Straight out of the box, its pretty much already together, you just have to fit a few screws / bolts to attach the screen to the base handle. The machine when standing is held together with a "Safety Bolt" which screws through a single upright into the main body, which in itself is pretty wobbly when running but made even worse as the bolt I received was bent at the start of the thread, but useable. Now, I'm not a light person, but I wouldn't say I'm overly heavy at 176lbs, which is well under the claimed max weight of 264 lbs (120kg), this is fine if you just want to cruise alone at 10-11 kph on the flat (Which is still actually an incline) but if you push it up to its top speed of 14 kph and start going at it, every 3-4 steps the belt skips / jolts which is a bit of shock to say the least when you're trying to concentrate on remaining on the petite running surface and not the surrounding floor. Now, imagine this problem when attempting to run on the max incline... Yep, its worse. The drinks holders, I'm not quite sure what the point in those are, unless its a European, Health and Safety thing, because unless youre looking to store an orange or apple in there I wouldnt bother. Although most bottles will fit, it is ridiculously shallow and leans towards the treadmill giving a terrible centre of gravity which when you actually run, bounces around throwing your apples and oranges all over the floor... and water bottles. In all a great (cheap) machine if you're "That" guy/girl who likes to walk indoors while reading a book, eating kettle chips or a casual 20 minute bimble at 10-11kph on the "Flat" but not for those who want to run a little bit faster, on an incline with a water bottle. In closing, save the money and get yourself a years gym membership, its safer and not as heavy.
