Does its Job
2 of 2 found this helpful After looking on line and at stores for a rack to use on the tongue of a travel trailer that is designed to not be putting stuff on bumper found this item. The install was easy enough and it is held on by the same bolts that keep the tongue jack on so no extra holes or clamps on frame, big plus. Instructions were a bit vague but then again any of you who have worked on any thing involved with RV the directions are always vague, to many variables. Other people who have seen it like it and as stated where it mounts is the smoothest part of the ride so the bikes will not be shaken apart. Just watch rear mounted stuff on any RV. When not needed comes apart so the only part on trailer is the mount which can be used to hold whatever type of camp decoration you use. Very well constructed product, finish seems good, all necessary parts included even the new bolts for the mount on the tongue can't beat that.

Let there be light finally.
Truck had regular mirrors with signals, changed to tow mirrors for trailer and they had puddle lights in them. Well they shall we say were a bit dim and as the truck is a darker color it was an improvement just not bright enough. After ordering I realized that the mirrors had been changed from factory to others so this was not just a plug and play as it would have been with the factory ones. Not a problem though popped out the incandescent lights spliced the ends after checking polarity as we know LED's can be polarity sensitive. Popped these in had to wait until dark but let me tell you all the difference in the world. Not only lights up front doors but the back doors also on a Supercrew. Like I stated they were easy to re-splice just cut ends off of old light and spliced onto these so they are now plug and play.

Better for towing
They bolted right on all functions work as stated. Heat seems to work better than stock ones. Puddle lights seemed a bit dim, but then again it is a grey truck so not a lot of reflection. Ordered a set of LED puddle lights put them in much better. Main reason to change them was the fact we tow a travel trailer and the view is much better and can see all the way down to tires on trailer and still see what is next to it and behind us.
